In December 2019, I completed a project in Pembroke Pines, FL, that involved a back patio extension, retaining wall, and steps.

The client’s backyard had a significant drop in elevation, so we began by constructing a retaining wall using center blocks to level the ground with the existing patio. Once the foundation was properly set, we installed high-quality brick pavers in the New Miami Havana color from GEM Pavers, creating a seamless and visually appealing extension to the original patio.

In addition to the patio extension, we installed steps leading down from the patio, ensuring a smooth transition to the lower part of the yard. The steps were built to blend with the new paver design, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

This project demonstrates my expertise in managing complex elevation challenges while delivering a polished and professional finish, further enhancing the outdoor space for the client.
